Three Motives To NOT Buy A Hoodia Patch System
Before you decide one way or the other, on whether to use a Hoodia patch or pill, let me explain.
The product on the market known as the Hoodia Patch is a product you will wish to stay away from, at least if you wish to try real Hoodia and get the benefits of Hoodia. But why say to stay away from the patch? Here are three points about the Hoodia patch –
- The patch stating it contains Hoodia on the market claims to be more effective than the Hoodia pills and capsules because they state the patch is transdermal in transporting the Hoodia into your system. The idea is, if the Hoodia can bypass your stomach and enter through the skin it will be in you faster and stronger. This is true with some medication patches, but not the Hoodia patch. There are not studies, no proof of this claim what so ever concerning a patch containing Hoodia.
- The San Bushmen, the tribal people from the Kalahari region of South Africa have used the Hoodia plant as an appetite suppressant for thousands of years. They ingest the Hoodia which is why it works so well. A patch is directly opposite from ingestion.
- The company that owns the patent rights to hoodia's dynamic agent, called P57 did preformed research trials in which one group was using the P57 Hoodia extract and the other group was a placebo group. They did not do any research on transdermal usage. In fact, when you visit Phytophrams website you will find the following statement:
“Only Phytopharms patented Hoodia Gordonii product is botanically verified to contain pure Hoodia Gordonii and has quantified levels of the chemical constituents that produce the anti-obesity effects.”
This fact tells the diet supplement user that any company selling a Hoodia Diet patch should not be saying the product works absolutely for weight loss, and even worse they should not claim that the patch works better than the Hoodia diet pills.
Considering all this, it is fair to also state that not all diet pills made with Hoodia on the market today will be full Hoodia and will work either. Many products claiming to have Hoodia in them are scams. That being said, if you have a choice of using either a patch or a pill containing Hoodia, after making sure your pill option has authentic Hoodia take the pill. One day perhaps a patch will be made containing Hoodia, but only after many studies have been done. Until then, we pass on the patch system. |
