Recipe For A Homemade Hoodia/Protein Shake
We've all read that hoodia gordonii is a powerful, efficient appetite suppressant. Most of us have read that protein, in addition to being the building block of muscle, can also act as an appetite suppressant. So, what better combination could there be for a hunger-busting shake than protein and hoodia?
Supplement shakes are wonderfully convenient and effective products. The problem is that there just aren't that many available to choose from. When you can find some, not only will you find a limited selection of flavors (yes, even chocolate can get boring after a while) you can expect to pay nice sum. In addition, those few protein shakes that offer hoodia “shots” really don't give you enough hoodia to be effective. In essence, you're paying more money for the same results.

Unlike premade protein shakes that usually come in only a very limited selection, powdered protein comes in a wide variety of flavors. My favorite mix is a combination of banana and strawberry. You can pick your own favorite for this recipe.
Pure 100% hoodia gordonii
Choose a capsule that is pure hoodia gordonii. For this recipe we don't want anything that includes unwanted stimulants like caffeine, green tea, or ginseng. They may be good products in their own right, be we don't want them in this mix. If you're still shopping around for hoodia you might consider products such as Desert Burn, Hoodia XR, or Hoodia Gordonii Plus. Independent consumer groups have consistently rated these among the highest quality hoodia products on the market.
Have what you need? Then here we go:
- Add one scoop of protein powder to a glass of water or lowfat milk
- Break apart (or crush) one hoodia gordonii capsule and add the powder to your glass
- Add ice if desired
- Mix and enjoy!
Another advantage to making your own shake is controlling how much protein or hoodia you put into it. There is no standardized chart for how much hoodia a person can consume. Like any other product, some people feel the effects with smaller doses of hoodia, while others require more. |
